Belle is growing up too fast

Well Our little Belle isn't so little any more, she is talking more and more everyday. She is 18 months now and is about to become a big sister any day now. Belle has Mom and Dad wrapped around her little finger. She sleeps in her big girl bed and she is really smart. She learns more and more sign language every day. She know a little over 20 signs and she know how to say about 7 or 8 words out loud. Belle is a busy busy girl, which is why we can't wait for spring so we can take her to the park so she can run around and release some of that energy. Belle gives good kisses, she use to give open mouth kisses but she has learned to make the lip smacking noise when she kisses now. Belle is going to be a great big sister, she kisses mamma's belly everyday, and she carrys her babies around the house and gives them kisses all the time. We are just a little scared she is going to want to play with her little sister as rough as she does with her baby dolls, she likes to poke at their eyes (Mom and Dads eyes too). Belle loves that right now Daddy has almost as much energy as her, she gets to be thrown in the air over and over and her laugh is the best. She is such a cuddle bug too. She will come up to you where ever you are sitting and turn her back to you and lift her arms up for you to pick her up. She likes to dress up as well. She will go into dads closet and get his ties and put them around her neck, then grab her necklaces and bracelets and put them on, grab a purse or two and come out with her cell phone and talk talk talk, we never know what she is saying, but she looks like a big girl when she has that phone of hers. Belle just learned that when we ask her to smile she doesn't squint or blink her eyes anymore she actually smiles. We are such proud parents, we can only hope all of our kids are as well behaved as her. She may be small but she has a big personality. Our next blog post will have big sister and little sister. Wish us luck and pray for us. We will let everyone know as soon as she gets here. But until then we will let Belle have all of our attention and be the only child for a few more days.

We got our pictures taken and it wasn't easy to get Belle to smile in any pictures with all three of us in it, but when she was alone with mom or dad or just by her self we could stand behind the camera and make her smile real big. She Started wondering off and dancing. She though she was pretty cute. So this was out fun fall day of taking our 2009 Baumgartner Family Photos.

No No Belle

Our curious little Belle loves to get into things she isn't suppose to, and lately she knows she isn't suppose to but she does it anyway. She knows what No means now, in english and in sign language, if you sign no to her she will most likely start crying. Nobody likes to hear no. Well Belle has more teeth she has her two bottom teeth and now her two top teeth and one more is coming in on the bottom. Looks like it's time to wean her to a bottle. We have been trying to wean her to a bottle and a sippy cup and anything else we can think of, but it doesn't seem to work. She doesn't know what to do with it, she just plays with the bottle and sippy cup as if it were one of her toys. So that has been a little frustrating, but she will get it, I have complete faith in her!!! She has taken her first steps!!! Yay for Belle!!! Our goal was to have her walking by Tims Wedding. Now she is walking like a pro. Belle also got her first hair cut, her bangs were getting in her eyes. She is such a mellow little girl. We are so happy with her, she is such a good little girl!!!

So our little Belle has found the buttons on the tv, she loves changing the channels and turning up the volume so loud we all get scared. She is getting so big, she is standing on her own and she looks like a toddler now. She is almost big enough to ride facing forward in a toddler car seat, she only needs to gain 2 more pounds and then she is going to experience a new way to travel!!! Belle loves to drink from a big person cup, she doesn't know how to use a sippy cup or a bottle, but she will drink from a normal cup no problem. Belle doesn't like green beans but she loves carrots, she also loves all fruit except for blueberries. Belle loves putting everything in her mouth, she thinks everything is a snack, i have found wrappers, buttons, and this last time i found egg shells, yuck. We keep our home clean, it's when we are other places that we find all sorts of treasures in her mouth. We took her swimming for the first time a few months ago, we took her to the ameritel swimming pool, she had fun. We are so excited to take her swimming this summer. We are signing her up for swim lessons soon too. Belle is learning to give kisses. She hates kisses but she is slowly learning to give kisses. She is so cuddly, she loves her back being scratched. She likes to pinch neck fat so watch out if you ever hold her. We bought her her first pair of sunglasses, she leaves them on which is amazing. She finally has long enough hair to put in a pony tail. she doesn't like it when we put her hair up, she crys when we try to put it in a pony tail, but her hair is so cute afterwords. She got her first real owie, she stood herself up on the foot rest on the chair and lost her ballance and slid under and scraped her little face on the metal under the chair. She cryed mom cryed and dad held us both to calm us down. She is both a daddys girl and a mammas girl. She plays herself to sleep, she will be laying on the floor playing with her toys and fall asleep. She loves to play in the bathroom and in the fridge, she is so silly. She is such a good little girl. We just love her so much.

1st Day of Blogging

Today is our first day of blogging, this is mostly going to be our online journal about Belle growing up way to fast. So far we have experienced the birth, the first bath, the first smile, the first laugh, rolling over, sitting up, clapping, crawling, feeding herself, pulling herself up into standing position, walking with a walker toy, standing on her own, first teeth, sleeping through the night, babbling, and to think we have so much more to see. Belle is now 9 months old, and she is cruising while crawling, she has two bottom teeth, she says mama, dada, and bebe. She is starting to stand on her own with out holding on to anything for maybe 20 to 30 seconds at a time. She trys to feed herself snacks. She loves baths and siting in her high chair. We can't believe how fast she is growing before our eyes, we are trying to soak it all in.
